How did you first come into contact with GSS?

Through the very enthusiastic Gilbert Cuyers, who stopped at one of our sites in Lanaken around five years ago with his demonstration vehicle. His well-designed system immediately caught our attention.
We were constructing a five-storey apartment building at the time, so he was the right person in the right place at exactly the right moment.

Why did you choose to use the GSS system?

As we regularly build apartment buildings of more than two storeys, we were looking for a system that was quick and easy to use. Other systems on the market can be cumbersome to install and dismantle, whereas GSS is straightforward and efficient for both formwork teams and bricklayers during dismantling.

What are the main benefits of the system?

The entire process is easy to prepare in the office, simple to explain on site, and quick to install and dismantle. The system significantly increases our productivity. Solutions have also been developed for more complex construction details, ensuring that edge protection can always be installed. The team of representatives is also always willing to work with us to find the right solution.

Would you recommend GSS, and why?

Definitely. Once you have made the initial investment in the edge protection posts, the remaining costs are essentially consumables that you would have anyway – whether using steel edge formwork or traditional timber formwork. A great system!
