How did you first come into contact with GSS?
Through my colleague and project manager Lucas Minnebo, who was already familiar with the system from previous projects.
Why did you choose to use the GSS system?
On this project, we mainly work with precast walls supplied by Prefand in Maldegem. They were not yet familiar with the system, but Kris from GSS sat down with them and explained how to integrate the GSS Prefab profile into their elements. The precast walls then arrived on site ready to use. Once the slab units had been installed, we could immediately secure the site using the GSS Safe system.
Would you recommend GSS, and why?
I would definitely recommend it. First and foremost, the edge protection system can be installed extremely quickly. We also no longer need to use timber to contain the concrete. There is no need for dismantling either. Most importantly, we can work safely throughout the process, which is a top priority for us.
